MKWii Tourney Ideas

Well, I can't post this in the Tournament section...
BUT--
Does anyone have any ideas for MKWii tournaments/contests?

Would anyone want MKWii events?

We could have no items, maybe teams, kartys only, bike only. Those are just a few.

cause we can't have a tourney w/out atleast 4 or 6 people

I haven't played it in a while but if we start up tourneys I'll start playing again, I may just need some practice first to get used to it again.

I had a friend ask me if "My" site(NR) was doing MKWii tournaments---which I think is a good question..
--plus it means we might have a new member....
so does ANYONE who Actively plays MKWii have any Tournament ideas?

We should set up an old-school tournament where only certain things from Super Mario Kart and MK64 are allowed.

All players would have to choose from the 8 classic characters with the exception of Koopa Troopa and DK Jr.
Only the Standard Kart would be used, nothing else, and of course only Retro courses from those 2 games.

The only thing new allowed would be the items, as there is no option to control them.
Could work.

We need to spread the word about MKWii Tourneys to friends/etc. who own the game, and are looking for a place to swap FC's, and help get things started here

that way, by word-of-mouth, we might see more people join, w/ MKWii--which will lead to the likelihood of us having tournaments here....

Tourneys eh? I like the sound of that. You can count me in, as I'm active on it.

Another idea, which is similar to the old school idea: N64 characters, Standard Karts, and N64 courses.
