Recently, on December 16, 2021 - Nintendo snuck a surprise update to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack service with new Sega Genesis games for Nintendo Switch Online service. The five games added to the Sega Genesis lineup are: Altered Beast, ToeJam & Earl, Dynamite Headdy, Sword of Vermilion, and Thunder Force II.
