Ideas for Tournaments​

Does anyone have any ideas for any future tournaments for the SSBB Forum?

Post here any ideas that you have here, along with any rules you think should go with it. And please, be specific...

Required Rules in all matches:

• stock matches
• time limit

Those are required but any other rules, including number of stock and time limit should be given in your suggestion. Rules can include anything, from items to stage choices.

I'd be all for Tournaments---One-on-One preferably.
(one person PWNING me is bad enough, I don't want TWO)...

I kinda wanna see "Poke Battles"--rather using ONLY Pokemon characters, OR Pokemon as the lone item in a match

Do you mean where you only use poke balls to damage opponents?

I mean let the Pokemon that come out do the damage(I've "experimented" w/ Pokemon only before--it was boring)--BUT you can still FIGHT hand-to-hand w/ your character, you just use the Pokeballs/Pokemon as your MAIN attacks(--preferably NO throwing them at each other)

Or how about a Brawl Minus tournament?

Ok guys consider this, Jiggly Showdown! Everyone who enters all have to fight using only Jigllypuff. Whoever wins is considered the Master Jiggly, the best Jigglypuff player of Nintendo Realm! If a lot of people join it can be a whole elimination round going from four player free for all down to the final two. If there are not enough, it can play as a normal 1v1 tourny. Also the Champion shall be granted their name being in pink and must defend his or her title in the next Jiggly Showdown tournament which could happen every month or something.

No, hacks are not allowed here.

of course, we had to "coordinate", otherwise we'd end up BOTH being Mario...

How about "Chick Fights"? Peach, Samus, ZSS, Shiek and Zelda(w/ NO changing and NO FS)

We do not have enough members who Brawl to host a successful tournament at the moment

we need a video on Youtube to advertise SSBB tournaments, or something...
the BIG problem is: the game's 4 years old, and isn't nearly as popular as it used to be

Well, that's not gonna be till 2013...
We need MORE current SSBB players, that are active--and in good numbers--to be able to do a REAL tourney here...

I'm still contemplating buying another copy, but not for $50...
