WII SPEAK

Do you have Wii Speak?

Post your FC's here---and discuss ALL about the Wii Speak here!

I don't have it---but I've been meaning to find one.

too bad Nintendo discontinued it--cause now it'll be EVEN harder to find one.

I'll still use once in a while, at least when I find people.
So many of them have it but are never on.
:confused2:

RE: Wii Speak FC's

I think, outside of those who got a Wii speak w/ ACCF--REALLY don't use it a whole lot...

the fact that you couldn't even buy it in the ACCF Bundle after a year or so didn't help....

RE: Wii Speak FC's

yeah--it was basically a trial-and-error for Nintendo, for online chatting...

sucks kinda--but thats what happens when Nintendo doesn't take advantage of what they had, and didn't make many MAJOR games that used it.

I want one for ACCF--AND because Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune use Wii Speak too--you can record "Positive" and "Negative" reactions--which would be HILARIOUS to do....

You think it would of been better if they just made a normal mic like everyone does. Sometimes its weird having voices come out the TV then you gotta talk loud so they can hear you.

yeah i only used it when i use to go online with Samus2008(Matt) in ACCF sometimes and then i tried use it in the conduit but didn't really use it that much due to the fact that they didn't allow voice chat with strangers..which i guess might have been for the better anyways :laugh1:

Yeah i agree that a regular mic or headset would have been a better idea. I mean i can remember yelling into wii speak when i first got it and hoping i could be heard =P

Now that I've actually USED the Wii Speak Channel---

Okay, its decent...could've been better, and maybe added some more "fun little features"...but then again Nintendo probably figured MOST people who had a Wii Speak, just used it for ACCF, and sending messages to their friends--and didn't expect many people to Chat w/ it.

Actually, out of all the people who I talked to on Wii Speak, only 5% had ACCF.
I guess they just wanted to chat, and I can say, chat we did!!
Since it's release back in 2008??
I spent countless hours chatting with a lot of different people.
I once celebrated New Year Day 4 times over Wii Speak. (Y)
There was a lot to talk about, we always shared photos and whatnot, even listen to each others music.
Good Times.

I definitely enjoyed this while it lasted...
now it's a ghost town.

same here.

and the fact that there are only like 15-20 games that support it MEANS that Nintendo didn't really see alot of potential for it

I wonder if they'll even bother "attempting" to make another peripheral like Wii Speak for Wii U....

Only 15? I didn't even know there were that many games. I thought there was only 2.
